Wow!!! This was not what I had been expecting from Disco Week. You may remember that I was a little…..well…..disheartened last week after the abysmal crimes perpetrated against the human ability to choose in the name of Movie Song Week. And in my mind I had already drawn up the equation.

Well I’m a little later with this than I’d have liked to have been but I am surrounded to the gills with essays if I had gills on my forehead. But it is nice to write something that doesn’t require quite as much…well…thought. After spending the day surrounded by DJ Cut Killer’s ‘Nique la Police’, heading back into the world of American Idol feels like being surrounded by cotton candy eating unicorns who shoot pink and purple glitter out of their horns while riding along sunbeams over rainbows. Even when Idol gets ‘controversial’ it’s still as edgy as a sphere.
